Whatever you do, don't be like this frog.
Put a frog in a vessel of
water and start heating the water. As the temperature rises, the frog
adjusts its body temperature accordingly. It keeps adjusting its
temperature with the increasing water temperature.
Just before the water reaches boiling point, the frog decides to jump
out, but is unable to do so because it has lost all its strength in
adjusting with the rising water temperature. Very soon, the frog dies.
Now, the question is what killed this frog?
Many will argue that its death was caused by the boiling water, but the
truth is the frog's undoing was it's inability to decide when to JUMP
OUT.
We all need to adjust with people and situations, but we need to be sure
when there is need to adjust, confront/face.
If we allow people exploit us physically, emotionally, financially,
they'll continue to do so. We have to decide when to jump out and make
sure it is done when we still have the strength to.
Stay blessed!
