KIRIKIRI RIOT AFTERMATH: MINISTER VISITS

The minister of interior Comrade Abba Moro visited the Medium Prison, Kirikiri town today(Sunday) . This might not be unconnected to the recent riot which took place two days back. He inspected damages done by the riotous prisoners. It is widely believed that pressure is being heaped upon the officer-in-charge DCP Kayode Odeyemi for his alleged 'high handedness'. The minister also inspected the prison yard briefly before taking leave.
