DIABETES' CURE FOUND AT LAST
Good times
are here for diabetic patients. Reports have it that a Harvard scholar,
Professor Doug Melton after 23 years of research finally made a
breakthrough in the search for the cure of diabetes.
The breakthrough has been commended and compared to the invention of
antibiotics. It involved identifying how to turn both stem cell types
into beta cells. This cells produce insulin and they responded to
glucose.
This therapy has been tested on mice for many months and discovered to
be effective. It would soon be tested on humans in coming months.
